Dancing with our Elders

Trinity Institution is proud to announce the "Dancing with our Elders" program. Carlos Osorio of Cumbia Spirit is teaching a dance class for seniors 55 and over. This class if free of charge thanks to contributions from our donors! Classes are held on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. For more information, contact Eva Madigan at 449-5155, ext. 110. Walk-ins welcome. Starting September 6 at 1pm, Dancing with our Elders will be at Arbor Hill Inc at 47 North Lark St. Classes will be every other Thursday. Call Corey Ellis 449-5155 ext. 131 for more information

Financial Management

Trinity Institution is pleased to anounce "Money and You", covering the ABC's of financial management, how to save money, how to budget, how to keep from getting ripped off, how to start your own business, and homeownership. Participants will be able to participate in the pro bono volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, as well as our Time Dollar Program. Trinity partners with the State Employees Federal Credit Union (SEFCU), the Affordable Housing Partnership, the Capital District Community Loan Fund and St. Patrick's Home Based Partnership Program. ROOTS' Re-entry Opporunities and Orientations Towards Success will be holding their monthly orientation groups at Trinity Institution January 31,2008 at 6pm. Roots sessions will provide motivation, resources and service provider contacts to those recently released parolees, those on probation, and all others in the re-entry process. Roots will also start a support focus group which meets January 5,19 at 11am. For more information contact Corey Ellis 449-5155 ext. 131

Adults and Children against Violence

Adults and Children against violence (ACT) is an anger managment discpline offered in a 4 part series, beginning January 7,14,28 and February 4 2008 6-8pm at Trinity Institution. Upon completion of the four part series the individual will receive a certificate of completion. Contact Corey Ellis 449-5155 ext. 131 to sign up, there is no cost for the course.
