(ALBANY, NY) – Tim Duffey, the president of the Board of Directors of Trinity Institution-Homer Perkins Center, Inc. has announced the creation of the Trinity Legacy Society: A Fund for the Future endowment program. Trinity Institution was among four agencies invited to participate in this endowment enhancement initiative by the Community Foundation for the Capital Region (CFCR) through a generous grant by KeyBank. Each participating agency will benefit from working closely with a CFCR Development Officer.
Trinity Institution provides a vast array of services from programs for parents with newborns to intensive home-based services for families in which foster care placement is a risk; provides linkages between families, school and other community resources in a “one-stop” environment to the meet the comprehensive needs of families; health and wellness activities; substance abuse support; an emergency food pantry; after-school, weekend and evening activities, summer camp youth development and gang prevention programs.
The Trinity Legacy Society: A Fund for the Future endowment will ensure Trinity Institution-Homer Perkins Center, Inc. will continue to serve Albany’s South End and Arbor Hill neighborhoods as they have done since 1921.
